Symbol - Basic Object

Description

The Symbol Library is a powerful and useful resource for ADISRA SmartView developers.  The Symbol Library contains thousands of ready-made symbols that can be placed into an application and configured.

Inserting a Symbol

To create a new Symbol in the Graphics Document:

  1. Click the “Symbol” option in the Ribbon.
  2. Place the mouse pointer where you want to create the Symbol.
  3. Click to create the new Symbol.

Symbol File

In the Symbol object Properties window, click the (…) button to the right of the Symbol File field to open the Symbol Library window.

The Symbol Library contains many Categories of images from which to choose.


Color Mode

Configures the Color Mode of a Symbol Object.

There are 3 Color Modes:

For these examples, we will use the Fill Color with the Symbol as “RED”.

Flip

Configures the Flip mode of a Symbol Object.

There are 4 Flip modes:

Horizontal:


Vertical:


Both:


Script Events

The Symbol Object provides several Script Events for the user.

  • Mouse Up
  • Mouse Down
  • Mouse While
  • Mouse Right Up
  • Mouse Right Down
  • Mouse Double Click
